Meet
Mover. Dancer. Teacher. Dreamer. Creative. Community Weaver. Activist.
Hi, I’m Debi - a lifelong student of the body in motion and the healing arts. My life’s work is to empower the curious mover to connect with their inner stillness, and to move in ways that feel good and bring about more ease in their body and mind.
Rooted in the Alexander Technique and Qi Gong, my work is shaped by a deep reverence for the dynamic connection between the body, mind and spirit, the natural world, mystery and transformation.
I live in the heartland with my husband and our three wildlings, where we delight in the prairies, wildflowers, streams, and wise oak trees. These humans and landscapes have been my greatest teachers of p-r-e-s-e-n-c-e that feeds my work.
My experience as a Registered Nurse brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to my practice. I have worked in many settings, where I have enjoyed providing attentive, compassionate care.
I am deeply grateful to have studied the Alexander Technique with my wise guides Joan Murray, Alexander Murray, and Rose Bronec. I received my AmSat Teachers Certificate in 2016 for the Alexander Technique.
I am also working towards a teacher’s certificate in Qi Gong, and am grateful to my skillful guides- Stephanie Nosco, Sue Vanags and Ken Cohen. All of my guides have breathed life into me, and inspired me to continue being curious and return to presence.
I am honored to create a safe, playful, supportive space for you to discover the freedom that lies within.
It is my deep joy and privilege to move and breathe with you! Check out my offerings below:
